Hola, my name is Dora Serna. I found myself in Dubuque for work purposes. Not for me but for my husband. It was a great opportunity and they offered him the position and he just needed to think a couple of seconds and said yes. We moved from Bogota, Colombia and the at the beginning it wasn’t really appealing because for me it was too small and quite here. But with time, I discovered how wonderful Dubuque is. The green, the peace and quiet, and the environment for family and kids are amazing.

I am a woman, a Latina and an American. America is a continent and all of us are part of it. I am a community member, and a proud mother and a professional also. I am very passionate about community and I discovered that here in Dubuque.
