Hi, my name is Curtis Turpin. I was actually born in Kansas and I lived in Kansas, Nevada, California and all over Eastern Iowa. A good majority of my childhood was in Guttenberg. My mom met my step-dad around when I was eight years old and eventually they got married and he was living in Dubuque at the time so we moved from Guttenberg to Dubuque. I go to school at UD, I’m a criminal justice major.

I would describe myself as a person that talks to everyone in any situation. I’m always the go-to person if people need advice or have questions. They know they can feel comfortable coming to me and I will give them an honest answer with no judgment. I love the arts. I draw, paint, dance, and played the trumpet for 13 years. I love everything about the arts.
